Features & Applications:
The CFR-1 Series offer comfort, protection and value. The soft facepiece seal provides extreme comfort and protection while offering the value of lower cost replacement filters versus disposables. Facepiece design prevents filters from collapsing and an adjustable harness ensures a comfortable and secure fit. Built-in exhalation and inhalation valve for easier and cooler breathing. Three sizes available as well as N95 replacement filters (20/box) part 42N95.
Each CFR-1 Respirator comes with one N95 filter. Replacement Filters must be purchased separately. The respirator has an assigned protection factor (APF) of 10.

Easily the most comfortable reusable mask I have ever tried. I use it around the house and it filters nearly every conceivable irritant, from perfume samples in magazines to dog hair and lint in the laundry room. I'd recommend it to any DIY'er, especially anyone who uses glue guns and dyes, as well as to anyone with bad allergies or chemical sensitivities. Also, the mask is super comfortable and is wearable for nearly any chore. I went for a jog in mine, and found it to protect against cold air too, WITHOUT slipping off my face! GREAT product!!!

Up until I tried this respirator, I had been using 3M's 8511 for dust/pollen protection. As I have severe allergies (both indoor and seasonal), I found myself needing a new mask and decided to try the CFR-1 for a change. Basically, it's the most comfortable mask I've ever worn, and for once I have found a respirator that offers a roomy breathing chamber that does not interfere with heavy and/or at-rest breathing. PERFECT.

This is one of the most comfortable particulate masks I have tried. It completely seals around the mouth and nose with rubber gaskets to allow for exhaling. It's extremely easy to change the particulate filter with two easy-to-release catches.

For work where you need to breath harder, this is still not as good as I would like, because you need more air. But it would probably be hard to make it any better, unless you hooked up something that blew in filtered air, but that would be not portable then and then would be expensive.
The best thing about this, is that the mask filters last longer (because they are not touching your face to get wet/etc, then dirt sticking to the wet area) and that there is a valve to make exhaling easier. It seals out the outside air very effectively.
You can tell someone has thought through this design quite carefully and tested to make sure it works and you can breath easier in it, yet found a way to keep the costs down on it!
The other cheap masks that you buy at the home supply stores - you know which ones I am talking about, are utter garbage compared with this. They are not really that cheap, because after you wear it one time, they get ruined from sweat. However the CFR-1 doesn't have this problem! Once you buy the CFR, the filters for it are MUCH cheaper than what you can get at the home supply stores - you know which ones I am talking about.
