The ER1000 is a hood-style escape respirator. It provides a minimum of 30 minutes of respiratory and face protection from chemical, biological, nuclear, and toxic industrial materials during emergency evacuations. Easy and comfortable to use, it can be donned and functioning in seconds. Polyurethane hood, polyurethane lens and butyl neck dam are all highly chemical resistant materials. Comes with two new Defender Plus™ cartridges that contain impregnated ASZM-TEDA carbon, as specified for U.S. Military canisters, for protection from chemical war agents. A HEPA filter is sealed to the cartridge for particulate protection.
