The North Safety Decelerator Lanyard is a lightweight energy absorbing lanyard designed to reduce the impact load experienced during a fall. It is built with safety and quality in mind with features that can help you work more efficiently and cost effectively. The Decelerator meets or exceeds all industry standards for energy absorbing lanyards including those set by ANSI, OSHA and CSA. It is engineered to limit arresting forces to 900lbs. (4kN) or less. It's made with a tough nylon tube jacket that functions as the back-up lanyard to a shock absorbing inner core material.
