This organic chloride contamination test kit is designed to measure organic chloride contamination in oil and water mixtures over a 200 to 4000ppm range. Economical for testing antifreeze, cutting fluid, oily water, sump water and bilge water. Includes everything you need for a single test-in a handy, pocket-sized kit. Test any fluid containing more than 70% water. 10cc sample is reacted with pre-measured reagents and titrated with color indicator to determine the accurate total organic chloride concentration. Results in less than 10 minutes. Violet color indicates test is complete. Chloride concentration is directly readable in ppm total chloride. Only measures "organic" chlorine, therefore inorganic chloride from seawater or other sources will not interfere with the test. Package of 12.
