It's a pretty good desiccant pack. The only downside I can think of is that the case feels a little flimsy, but I've done almost everything except juggle it and run it over with a car, and it hasn't broken yet. Properly sitting in a hard case, I don't see any reason it wouldn't outlive me.
The crystals are a little hard to see through the window. There's no window on the other side, so you have to check it in a well-lit area.
