This powerful Super SabreLite Flashlight was designed with safety in mind, and is approved safe for any hazardous environment or condition. Unlike ordinary flashlights that produce a yellow beam, the SabreLite's incredibly bright Xenon lamp produces a powerful collimated white beam. The body of the SabreLite is ABS resin, resistant to chemicals, corrosion, and extreme temperatures, as well as o-ring sealed with a twist-on shroud. The flashlight is also designed with a polarity battery guard tray that safeguards against dangerous "outgassing" of hydrogen from an accidentally reversed cell. 3 C alkaline cells power the flashlight, and it is in compliance with: FM approved for Class I, II, Div. 2, Groups A, B, C, D, G. CSA Class 1, 2, Div. 2, Groups A, B, C, D, G. MSHA IOC-629-2. UL Class I, Div. 1, Groups C, D. UL Class I, Zone 1, Groups IIA, IIB.
