I purchased this ladder for use around the house and so-far it has served it's purpose admirably. Once set up, it is an incredibly stable work platform, even for a hefty guy like myself. I especially like the platform design since it removes the upper steps most ladders have, giving more room to work & maneuver. Not to mention the platform itself which holds tools very well. It is a heavy ladder to carry, but not overly so, plus that's a small trade-off for the capacity & stability. This thing is my best friend for doing home repairs.
