This pocket anemometer/weather meter is a backlit device that does not require any calibration, and measures wet bulb and dew point with ±3.6°F.accuracy, temperature with ±1.8°F accuracy and windchill. The instrument also tracks current, average and maximum wind speeds with ±3% accuracy, plus wind vane, digital wind direction, cross wind and head/tail wind readings, and Delta T measurements. Wind directions are displayed in degrees and compass points. The pocket anemometer/weather meter also includes our Accuweather.com patented Comfort Index, which is the effect of temp, wind speed, relative humidity & sun intensity on the human body and is superior to heat index.
The unit is designed with a durable jackknife case that can be mounted to a tripod, and the jackknife design also allow sit to be carried comfortably in your pocket. Includes a replaceable CR2032 lithium battery.
