The portable area heat stress WBGT monitor features an on-board humidity sensor and displays relative humidity. The WBGT also calculates heat index and humidex indoors or outdoors. Other features include a multilingual display, real-time relative humidity reads that are measured with an RH sensor. The temperature accuracy is ±0.5°C (0.9°F) and the relative humidity accuracy is ±5%. The sensor assembly temperature ranges from –5° to 100°C (23°–212°F) and the electronics temperature range is from –5° to 60°C (23°–140°F). A web bulb reservoir, shielded dry bulb and removable sensors used for remote applications are included in the unit. The WBGT also comes with a 2” globe and a 150-hour 9V battery installed. The WBGT measures 9.2” x 7.2” x 3” and weighs 2.6 lbs. This portable area heat stress monitor can be fixed-mounted or used for hand-held tasks in environmental, meteorological or industrial applications.
