      Comments about Regin HVAC Products Incorporated Regin Smoke Pen:

      Pretty handy little tool. We use them to check "spillage" on water heaters daily. While the smoke is a little harder to see than the "puffers", it is non-toxic, non-corrosive, etc...so I feel it's worth it. Hit it with a flshlight beam and you're good. We also use them to locate air infiltrations in building envelope and duct work.

        Comments about Regin HVAC Products Incorporated Regin Smoke Pen:

        The pen worked excellent for our application, trying to illustrate airflow direction of a computer system fan. the small amount of smoke that it produces is perfect for illustrating air movement. The only improvement would be adding a method for stopping smoke production quickly. But the pen worked just as expected. Good product

          Comments about Regin HVAC Products Incorporated Regin Smoke Pen:

          For most other purposes, it may serve its users well; however, in my experience, we were unable to get a strong and consistent stream of smoke from the wicks, nor were we able to keep the wick well lit.

          We used the smoke pen for a video demonstration, however, it did not meet our expectations.

              Comments about Regin HVAC Products Incorporated Regin Smoke Pen:

              Expensive but better than the alternative (the smoke puffers. I am thinking about trying perfumed inscents instead because they are cheaper and the customer might like the smell. If that does not work I will continue using the pencil until I have built my own version that perform the same but cost much less.

              Comments about Regin HVAC Products Incorporated Regin Smoke Pen:

              The pen works Ok, however, I'm testing airflow in my attic & wished that the wicks could have been a little bigger to give off more smoke so I could follow the smoke trail but I realize that the attic area is quite a large area.

              The pen will work great for air leaks around windows, doors, etc;

              The pen is a little bit on the expensive side for what you get, however, the product is satisfactory in my opinion.

                Comments about Regin HVAC Products Incorporated Regin Smoke Pen:

                Works well except that itself is a source of heat so it creates its own draft. Also, it leaves a room smelling like smoke for some time. However, it burns completely clean - no ashes will fall from it, they all go as smoke.
