I put out my traps, caught a rodant, called our local township to see what to do and was informed, "it is illegal to trap in our township". I said, "it is a rodant", and the reply was "it is still considered an animal". So, my husband took it to a wooded area outside our township and let it loose. We have placed them in the garage now, and so far we have trapped nothing. Out township came out and put up their own bait traps. I guess it is better than nothing. But, your traps were very easy to bait and take care of and they did show us what we were dealing with.

Had a number of squirrels- started getting into my house through the gable vent. This trap works great at removing them. I caught two within the first couple of days of using the trap.

We are ridding our yard of squirrels, who eat our flowers, dig holes in the yard and are generally pests. The trap is the best, most effective method found to date..we don't want to harm the critters, we just want 'em to go elsewhere!!

Lost a pet rat in the house and this trap worked quickly and safely to return her unharmed and relieved me of worrying about chewed electrical wires. First try we bought the mouse size and it didn't work because her tail held open the door and she was able to get back out, so it is important to get the right size to match the animal.

Worked the first time, wasn't sure the cat would go in the trap as she was sitting beside it. When I got up in the morning she was inside. She was spayed and returned to the outdoors. One less kitten factory to worry about.

The critter I was trying to catch walked right over the trigger mechaism (that is suppose to close the trap). Not only did the trap not close - but my critter ate all the bait. The trigger needs to be much more sensitive (it's not like I was trying to catch a lion/tiger - it was a squirrel)...

A young, feral mother cat brought 4 tiny kittens to my porch 2 nights in a row. I ordered the trap. By the time it arrived, something had happened to 3 of the kittens. I caught the last surviving kitten the evening the trap arrived. He is now tamed, neutered and a loving pet.
I've still not been able to catch the mother cat. She took the bait and never set off the trap. I've watched her lick a small bowl or can of catfood clean and then back out of the trap several times.

I purchased the trap to collect ferrel cats that are around the neighborhood. The local SPCA will spay the cats to reduce further reproduction and suffering. The SPCA has these same traps for rent; the demand on the traps is so great that I wanted to have one of my own to use when needed. These traps are of a perfect size, easy to handle and very humane.
