This trap is well built and for the price, is the best value that I was able to find. It's also very easy to bait and set. It's portable and fits nicely in the back deck of our SUV. The rear slide up door allows for easy transfer of the cat to a carrier for the animal rescue and control personnel.

I tried so hard for months to get a animal trap from our local animal control. They never had one avalible. So I purchased this and 15 wild animals later after only a couple of weeks we are very happy with this one. Plus I got a look at one of the animal control traps and they are not even as easy to use as this one and it is just as strong. I got it to trap feral cats to have them neutered/spayed and released back or to trap them if they are sick to have the vet take care of them.
I got this trap mainly because it has a 2nd door in the back that makes it easy to feed the trapped cat and also to release him/her safely.

The metal had a dark residue on it, which I got on my hands when I handled the trap. I put Fancy Feast inside the trap, covered with a towel and tied open for several days, accustoming the stray cat to going inside. Then, when I was ready to spring the trap, I had to do so manually, because the long cat was able to clean the food dish while avoiding stepping on the trigger plate. He was so interested in the food that I won the battle, but doing so was in spite of the trap. I loved getting the delivery less than 24 hours after placing the order.

We had a troublesome raccoon getting into everything day and night. Tried a smaller trap - didn't work. Got this one and the same day captured the criminal and relocated him to the shore of a lake 20 miles away.
