The Soil Moisture Sensor is calibrated in percentages and read outs are immediate. Check moisture at any level from 1" to 6". It has a quick adjustable base which allows easy depth adjustment. It has specially designed quick probe depth adjustment from zero to four inches deep.

The Soil Moisture Sensor is the ideal moisture meter for testing soil moisture as it is simple to use, easy to read and very durable. If readings are below 25%, there is not enough moisture for the turfgrass roots, if the soil moisture readings are above 75%, there is not enough air space in the soil.

Monitoring soil moisture insures consistency in playing conditions from one golf green to another or one athletic field to another. It is also an excellent tool for use in water audits and in the whole urban ecology.
