The Testo 317-3 CO Carbon Monoxide Detector is a CO monitor that can be used in a wide range of applications to test for safe air conditions. Professionals use this Carbon Monoxide Detector to test for the presence of carbon monoxide in ambient air during furnace and boiler service and maintenance, weatherization audits and during home inspections. The detector features a self-test mode that verifies the CO sensor at all times without the need for test gas. The detector has a 40-sec. reaction time.

It's very easy to use, programmable to alarm at any ppm, and small enough to carry around with you . It has a great little leather case with a belt clip and a lanyard if you would rather hang it around your neck. It satisfies the BPI and OSHA personal safety requirements and doesn't get in my way. I'd recommend it highly to other professionals.
