This thermocouple thermometer with bell surface wrap&stow probe is ideal for taking highly accurate measurements of flat surfaces, such as griddles and platens. The Bell self-orients to a surface to ensure superior contact and more accuracy. A small drop of oil or grease is recommended to aid in heat transfer to the bell sensor. The Thermocouple Thermometer features a hold button to freeze readings and a LED backlight for dark areas. The heavy-duty patented probe cable is reinforced with Kevlar® and a metal braid that neatly wraps and stows around the instrument.
