The TLM200 is able to calculate distance, area, volume, simple Pythagorean, and tracking. It is accurate to ±1/8-in per 100-ft. with a range of 100-ft. It's more versatile than other methods; able to measure indoors, outdoors and hard to reach spots such as vertical distances.
