Features & Applications:
This Traceable® Double Thermometer has dual K-type thermocouple channels that permit monitoring two separate probes. Dual display simultaneously shows temperature measurements of both probes or temperature measurement of one probe and the difference between probes (T1-T2). A serial RS–232 port allows it to be connected to a computer or datalogger for monitoring and capturing results.
All Traceable® Thermometers are provided with an individually serial-numbered certificate indicating instrument traceability to standards provided by NIST.

I have used this unit both in hot and cold ares. I tried it in a gas oven, I am not sure if this was a good idea for gas. It works fine for electric ovens. I have noticed if the probe where it goes in to the device moves, It will stop reading. If I giggle the end it works again. It could just be a bad probe. I still like the unit. I will recomend this. After all only one probe jack or wire has given me trouble. still love it.
