The Traceable® Mini Digital Thermometer comes with a NIST Certificate to ensure precise calibration, and monitors temperature up to 500.8ºF around the clock. Featuring a large display that is readable for 10' away, the digital thermometer also has a range alarm that alerts you when the temperature falls or climbs out of range. A single AAA battery enables the digital thermometer to run continuously for up to 1 year.
All Traceable® Thermometers are provided with an individually serial-numbered Traceable® Certificate indicating instrument traceability to standards provided by NIST.

We expected the product to be more accurate than our other thermometers since it cost more and had NIST traceable calibration. It was the only thermometer that was NOT within 0.2 degrees F of our control and for boiling water at our elevation and that day's barometric pressure.

ISO17025 cert may not be accurate for entire period. We just reordered and our previous thermometer (same) was off about 0.4 C and the certificate was almost expired.

Pipeline work. concerned at first that the probe wasn't long enough to give accurate readings in 20" pipe. Fears unfounded! This little unit is as accurate as a Beta with a long probe, and 100 times less money.
