Features & Applications:

The Traceable Mini Thermometer provides fast, accurate temperature measurements up to 572ºF in wet areas where traditional glass and mercury thermometers are too dangerous to use because of breakage and toxic materials. This thermometer is safe and reliable, and features a stainless-steel probe, making it acid-, base-, and solvent-resistant. Users can recall the highest and lowest temperatures from any time period with the simple touch of a button.

Brew masters often choose to use this instrument as a digital beverage thermometer, as it is ideal for accurate monitoring of mashing and sparging temperatures in all-grain brewing.

Note: The cord can only withstand temperatures of 122 degrees. This cord should not be submerged in liquids higher than 122 degrees.

Each Traceable® Thermometer meets NIST standards and comes with a Traceable® Certificate with its own individual serial number.

        Using this product in a refinery. temps ranginging from 0 to 500 degrees. All readings are of atmosphere. Really like being able to recall high and low. Used mostly for confined spaces

          The thermometer seems to be accurate and is fairly fast to update the display. My only problem with it is that the cable is about 10 feet long so it tends to get tangled and snagged on things in my shop. A smaller cable would have been more desirable but I didn't notice the wire length when I placed the order.

              Cute little thing. Suction cups are a great idea, though they need a glass surface or equivalent to work. Very accurate, from Freeze to Boil. Recommended.

                  Bought this for use with homebrewing. Worked well for 2 brews then noticed some strange temperature fluctuations that didn't make sense. Now I saw that it was due to the cable breaking right at the metal connector just below the readout. Nice! It's hard to believe that a wire that can withstand 500+ degrees could break completely in half. I treated this thing very nicely.

                  Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
