This instrument operates on the principle of electrical impedance to give accurate, nondestructive moisture measurements (with automatic correction for density and temperature). Instrument is equipped with a microcontroller, a real-time clock, a temperature sensor and a high-capacity memory chip that retains its data. Record your findings, as it can store up to 625 readings in 25 files and possesses a library of 32 wood species (an additional 300 species available through software) plus three wall and three roofing types. Recall your readings at any time, or download them to your PC for wordprocessing reporting or spreadsheet analysis. Includes software CD, RS-232 cable, 9V battery and carrying case.
