Comments about UEi Electronic Digital Manometer:
I am a HVAC contractor and a registered engineer. I have had this meter for a couple of years. This product is an OK entry level devise for some uses, but it is not accurate enough for many HVAC uses. Other than measuring supply gas pressures, its range is too large (up to 50 psi). For most HVAC apps, look for a meter with lower working range; +/- 0.5 psi (16" H20) is more than enough. They will be more accurate. As for measuring pressure drops across coils or filters it does OK for higher static differential pressures, but on the low end, below 0.5", this meter gives inaccurate readings. As far as using it to check room pressurization, balance an ERV or using it with a pitot tube to measure air velocity, forget it.
Pros

Cons
