This UV Sensor for Wireless Weather Stations gives continual readings of UV-B, the harmful light emitted from the sun. Place it outdoors and aim it at the noon sun. The level of UV is sent wirelessly to the inside station as an additional sensor number. Then, UV is displayed with a value of 0 - 11 with corresponding color and symbol so you can quickly analyze the UV danger. It includes an adjustable mounting pole that can be mounted in the ground or to a deck, shed or wall. Three AA batteries are required, sold separately.
