Comments about Uvex® Genesis® Welding Safety Glasses 5.0 Shade Ultradura:
I was looking for a darker pair of sun glasses with-out having to pay a lot of money. I have paid as much as $150 for a pair of Wiley-X sun glasses in my efforts to find a pair that is dark enough with no success. I am very pleased to say that these welding safety glasses fit the bill for the least amount of money. I read the other reviews on the product and the one about the person wearing these glasses everyday due to light sensitivity convinced me that they were worth a try. Now that I have them I wear them everyday, driving, hiking, snowblowing, working in the yard, etc. I'm going to buy more pairs so I always have a set available to me in whatever vehicle I'm driving. Besides finally finding a pair of glasses that are dark enough to meet my light sensitivity issues, I'm very pleased with the price and the fact that they meet safety standards for eye protection in case I'm ever involved in an accident. The only complaint that I think someone could make as a user for sunglasses is that despite being distortion free, it is an adjustment to look at everything through the green lenes. This adjustment may be difficult for some people, however it has not been for me.

Comments about Uvex® Genesis® Welding Safety Glasses 5.0 Shade Ultradura:
My husband has been visually impaired for over 30 years and is light sensitive. He has had problems with the only glasses available for this issue
( Noir ), frames fall apart. He has been looking for alternative glasses for years and just thought of welding glasses recently. They fit his face and very effectively protect him from light at all angles. The only prolem is with the top of the frame, it does not keep enough light out, but with a cap or hat, it is working. Thank you for this excellent product.

Comments about Uvex® Genesis® Welding Safety Glasses 5.0 Shade Ultradura:
I wanted a dark pair of sunglasses that had good UV protection. These absolutely fit the bill. I didn't realize how green they were until I got them, but even so, I would still get them. My only minor complaint is that the adjustable earpieces don't pull back as far as I'd like, but that's probably because I have a very large head.
