I have found this Water Pressure Gauge to be the best on the market I can find. Some water companies may have better ones, however, I can not find them to be purchased at any price. The quality of craftsmanship and ease of use with the fact that this one is freeze proof, sold me on this gauge, since I also use this gauge to check water pressure over long periods of time, in basements and occasionally outdoors, where freezing temperatures would freeze and destroy almost any other gauge. I recommend this gauge because it is made well, is heavy in the hand and will serve your needs for years to come. Do not cut corners by buying the foreign made gauges, they are all poorly made.

I use this indoors (typically wash tubs) and out (hose bibs), the only improvement I would like to see would be some sort of relief valve for disengaging it indoors. There isn't a lot of spray but often you look clumsy when removing it.
This is a solid piece of equipment comparatively and if I ever need another one I will not hesitate to shell out the cash.

residential water pressure reducing valves come factory set at 50lbs. & ranges are 25lbs.-75lbs. First use read 81lbs. & second use, at another house, with new out of the box prv, read 42lbs.

Went through 3-4 'regular' gauges (froze/broke) before I bought this one. I expect it to have a long/useful life.

It's a little bit bigger and little bit heavier than I would like, but it doesn't freeze and it is very accurate.

This is a great unit. After freezing my "basic" pressure gauge, permanently this time, (come on, who really brings their tools inside every night)I decided to upgrade.

The pressure gauge has performed flawlessly, with great accuracy. The only gripe is that it is a little bulky. But worth putting up with.

This unit gets big thumbs up from this Montana inspector!
