These Water Quality Test Strips are a great alternative to wet chemical iron tests, and are designed with a patented technology that allows for a detection sensitivity of 0.1 ppm (mg/L). No mixing of hazardous chemicals is required, and the test strips provide results in just a few minutes. The ranges of 0.1 to 5 ppm (mg/L) permit the measurement of typical iron levels found in well, tap, and stream water. The test is easy to use: simply dip test strip into sample for 30 seconds with constant back and forth motion, remove, and after 2 minutes have passed, use the color chart to quantify the total iron level in the sample.
