This Werner Extra Heavy Duty Step Stand is ideal for industrial or commercial applications. This Type 1A Step Stand is rated for 300 pounds, but is about 40-percent lighter than comparable steel models. It has a gentle front incline so it is easy to climb, but features a steep rear rail incline so it can be placed close to the work area. The steps and top are broad and extra deep to provide slip resistance and added comfort. With extra large 6-inch foot pads, this step ladder is ideal for use on floor gratings.
The locking spreader ships folded, but then stays permanently open for greater stability, safety, and durability. Werner Step Stands are made in the USA and meet ANSI and OSHA standards. This 3-step stool has a maximum standing height of 30 inches, is 18-3/4 inches wide and has a 27-1/2" spread. The top is 9 by 14 inches and the steps are 6 inches deep.
