Model UB-5 offers precision pH and temperature measurements. Pressing the “Standardize” key begins the auto-recognition of buffers for calibration. The “Setup” key clears buffers, reviews electrode conditions, or allows you to select a different buffer set. “Enter” inputs the current option. The large LCD shows both pH/mV and the temperature measurement simultaneously. A measuring icon denotes when the instrument is taking a reading. When the reading is stable, the stability icon shows.
