This coliform test kit is a safe way to test the quality of your water. The kit includes five tubes, each containing a nutrient tablet. The disposable 5 tube method can be used to indicate the presence of Total Coliform Bacteria in a drinking water supply. To use this test, the tubes are reacted with a sample, stored at room temperature for 48 hours and examined for color change and gas formation. The number of positive tubes may be correlated to a MPN.
