Simply drop one or more tablets into an opening ahead of the suspected leak area. The dye turns water a dense yellow-green color that is detectable over long distances of pipe, in water currents and in the soil of a septic field.

The fluorescent green dye can be detected with an ultraviolet light or by a fluorometer, is safe and non-toxic, as well as biodegradable. Sunlight also breaks down the color.
