Professional Equipment CO Meter uses a catalytic chemical sensor to read ambient CO gas levels
Features & Applications:
The Professional Equipment Carbon Monoxide (CO) Gas Detector offers the same features as competing CO gas detectors, but at a much more affordable price. The detector utilizes a catalytic chemical sensor to measure low levels of CO in ambient air, and an audible beeper sounds continuously when CO is detected. Readings are displayed on a large, backlit LCD.
Features:
- 3 1/2 digit LCD display with back light option
- Data Hold feature - will stop reading carbon monoxide gas level and hold
data until canceled
- Max Hold feature - will hold the maximum absolute value of carbon monoxide
gas
- Soft carrying case and four AAA batteries
- Range: 0-1999 ppm
Safety Information for Carbon Monoxide Gas Levels
- 0-1 ppm - Normal background level
- 9 ppm - Maximum indoor air quality level
- 50 ppm - Maximum concentration for continuous exposure in any
8 hour average level
- 200 ppm - Mild headache, fatigue, nausea and dizziness
- 400 ppm - Frontal headache, life threatening after 3 hours
- 800 ppm - Death within 2 hours
- 1600 ppm - Nausea within 20 minutes, death within 1 hour
- 12800 ppm - Death within 1 to 3 minutes
