AMEREX Dry Chemical Fire Extinguishers are effective against all three common classes of fires.

Features & Applications:

The Amerex Tri-Class (ABC) Dry Chemical Fire Extinguisher can be used against all three common classes of fire (A, B and C), and uses a specially fluidized and siliconized mono ammonium phosphate dry chemical. This chemical insulates Class A fires by melting at approximately 350°F and also coats the surface to which it is applied. In addition, the fire extinguisher will smother and break the chain reaction of Class B fires, and will not conduct electricity back to the operator.
