The Eijkelkamp Soil Sample Ring Kit takes samples in virtually all soils and at all levels! It lets you take samples on the surface, in auger holes or in profile pits, plus above and below groundwater level. Soil sample rings are stainless steel rings made in seamless tubes, smooth inside and out. The bottom of the ring has a cutting edge. This kit is highly suitable for laboratory studies and for undisturbed samples. Standard diameter of samples is 2" (50mm). Contents 6 cu. in. (100mL).

Use samples for testing moisture content, water permeability, air permeability, weight by volume, density, soil-water-air relationship at field capacity, pore distribution and oxygen diffusion. The closed ring holder in this set is fitted with a conical threaded connection so it may be hammered into the soil using an impact-absorbing hammer.
