This high-performance welding helmet is manufactured with high-performance NORYL, which provides far greater heat resistance and a higher melting point than welding helmets made of nylon. This great material resists impact, scratches, cracks and chemicals, making the helmet ideal for overhead welding.

The Fibre Metal® Tigerhood® Classic Welding Helmet is designed to fit easily over safety glasses and respirators, and the helmet features floating headgear that balances and stabilizes the helmet’s weight. NORYL allows the helmet to have an extended service life and its pliable material conforms to individual head shapes for maximum comfort. Additionally, the ultra-smooth gloss surface sheds spatter better, and the welding helmet features a strip-proof ratchet knob and padded, perforated sweatband to absorb moisture and provide a cooling effect.

The welding helmet also features a molded-in glassholder and a telescoping lid that provides a seal against light leak. 2"H x 4-1/4"W lift front. Complete with a Shade 10 filter plate installed. Gray. Compliance: ANSI Z87.1-2003 High Impact.
