The Extech 42515 Wide Range Infrared thermometer with type K input measures both non-contact and contact temperature, and is capable of storing up to 20 readings. With a wide temperature range for IR temperature, the thermometer is useful in a variety of applications, such as measuring the surface temperature of objects that are difficult to reach, scanning for hot spots, or in processes where glass, iron and steel, non-ferrous materials, and minerals must be monitored. The unit's Automatic Emissivity Adjustment allows accurate measurement of virtually any surface.
