The TPI 395 Portable Refractometer is easy to use and provides accurate readings of freezing point of fluids used in hydronic heating systems. Simply place a drop of fluid on the prism and close the plastic lid. When you look through the eyepiece, red and blue colors will indicate the freezing point of the coolants or the state of change for batteries.
