The First Alert Radon Test Kit will safely and effectively test for the presence of radon in any building. Detector comes sealed in a plastic packet to prevent contamination prior to testing. Open the packet and place the detector in the area you want to test (initial testing should be done in the lowest level of the dwelling). Leave it undisturbed for two to three days, then seal it up in the return mailer and send it in for analysis. Once received, you’ll get the results within 72 hours.
