This Handheld Radiation Alert Detector is ideal for identifying alpha, beta, gamma and x-rays!
Features & Applications:
The M4EC is a compact, general purpose survey meter capable of detecting alpha, beta, gamma, and x-rays over 3 selectable ranges. A red count light flashes and a beep sounds with each event detected. The Monitor 4EC offers a more linear reading for gamma and x-rays (above 40 keV).
Features:
- Battery operated, no external wires or probes
- Lightweight and small enough to fit into a shirt pocket
- Feature three ranges for maximum sensitivity
- Geiger tube is industry-standard
- ABS plastic shell
- Vinyl carry case with belt clip
- Operate on one 9V alkaline battery (sold separately)
Applications:
- Hospitals
- Research labs
- Power plants
- Rescue units
