THIS PRODUCT I USED WAS EFFECTIVE IN LOCATION OF REBAR IN BLOCK WALLS, IT SEEMED TO BE MORE ACCURATE IN CONCRETE DUE TO AGGERGRATE MAKE UP.IT PERFORMED VERY WELL AND FOR THE PRICE IT IS A GOOD BUY.

as part of a forensic review of illegal construction on a single family residence, I had to satisfy the building inspector that rebar actually existed in the footings. I wasn't sure that this instrument would do the trick but it indicated rebar pretty much where it should have been within the footing. Chalk one up for Zircon!
the only thing I can suggest is to make the instructions a little more complete and explanitory. We had to fuss with it for a while until we got the hang of it. Then it worked just as advertised.
